We’re pleased to announce a new addition to Assurity’s robust disability income insurance lineup – Income Protection Individual Disability Income Insurance. It will launch in all states except California and New York on July 20. AssureLINK will be updated with product details, marketing materials, quoting and more upon launch.
Income Protection is built for digital-first service to speed up your business. As part of our continued commitment to the DI space, your success, and sustainable business practices, Income Protection DI will be e-application only, available on AssureLINK. Not only does it help us save waste, but decreased time for processing, decisions and placement mean more business for you.
Along with the launch of new Income Protection, there will be a few changes made to our existing product line:
- 1-year and 2-year benefit periods will no longer be available for Century+ DI in states where Income Protection DI can be sold
- Simplified DI will no longer be available for purchase
Applications for Century+ DI 1- or 2-year benefit periods and Simplified DI must be signed, dated and received by Assurity on or before August 17.
